At top is an image as taken along I-70 west of Green River Utah headed east. The sun was close to setting and the light was magnificent. The original shot was interesting and could have been cropped and made more vibrant, and perhaps that would have sufficed. Just above I’ve added a foreground which I shot further down the road. The edge of the road in the lower left corner wasn’t attractive so below I’ve added a bush. I could have also change the sky, but in this instance I liked the dark clouds. Although this image would never be acceptable as a traditional landscape, who would know? Foreground is so important to a good landscape, and only by compositing was I able to enhance this shot.
